Also, for my Janome, there are two bobbins that fit, but one is just a millimeter different in size and one works much better than the other.<BR/><BR/>Also make sure that that little lifting lever on the foot is in the right position...and make sure the foot is in the down position. Often, I find it's the bobbin ...I agree with Mary. Often, I find it's the bobbin tension is too tight so the top tension has to be tightened too much to compensate. Of course, re-thread but try loosening the bobbin tension a hair. I have a Janome that drove me insane...they failed to tell me that I needed to put some tension on the thread by holding it as I was threading the machine from the top. When I did that, it worked great. Mine looked exactly like yours. I would take out all of the thread (top & b...oy....
