Then I just save as web page complete. It saves it exactly as it looks in the blog, including pictures, and I can then burn it on a CD. If I click on the html page, it will come up in the browser just like the original, but it will be from my files instead of from livejournal.

You could save weekly, or however you wish to do it. No muss, no fuss. =)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37254810.post-27582981102136222812009-01-05T06:37:00.000-06:002009-01-05T06:37:00.000-06:00I wish I had your discipline. As to the blog posts themselves, I hadn't even thought about saving them!

While none of the posts I write are necessarily something anyone will want to read even a couple of years from now, I think I would like to keep a copy somewhere. The only time I used Flickr is for the slideshow of Linus quilts in the margin (note to self - update your slide show!). As for saving posts, I treat it as ephemera - it's more like conversation to me than composition. And I don't think I write anything well enough to worry about saving it for posterity! The Calico Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01772374749065425388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37254810.post-7960342122414855712009-01-04T18:26:00.000-06:002009-01-04T18:26:00.000-06:00I read one time about a blogger who had her posts ...I read one time about a blogger who had her posts printed in journal form (apparently some small business offers this service.) I use a downlaodable program called irfanview for editing my photos.

I don't keep a copy of the text of a blog post; guess I could, but I figure several years from now am I really going to go back and want to read them?Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15763869971803840742noreply@blogger.com
