What courage you have!!! THat type project is THE reason I didn't want my husband to retire - I didn't want him EVER to see me when I color -- uhhh washed the gray out of my hair!

That's a lovely color - and you ARE brave to show the in-process photo. I quit coloring my hair two years ago and love the freedom of it, but I probably looked better my original brunette. Silly story - I had short hair and only the roots were being touched up, so as the colorist finished a section she pushed it upwards out of the way. The color solution kept the sections of hair sticking straight up in the air and when she was done I looked like Medusa. It's a salon that does men's hair too. I was sitting waiting for the color to process and talking about work with a guy employed at the same power plant I worked at, and when I glanced over and saw myself in the mirror I about died of embarrassment!
