Aviva's Chuppah

It's really not much further along then the last time I showed it....I really need to light a fire as the wedding is in March. I have a self imposed deadline of the end of the year! HA!

The strips around the outside are there to see how it would look if I continued the pattern of diamonds and triamgles.

It's a fabulous quilt! Can't wait to see what you do with it next!

OMGosh - I had no idea it was such a challenging project with little blocks! But it's coming along, bit by bit.

What happens to it after the ceremony - is it still in 6-pt shape when finished or can it be turned into a quilt, or is it passed along to others for the same purpose, or ????

My son was married one March. I started a quilt for them in plenty of time and they got it 18 months after the wedding. But it was well appreciated anyway. I called it a wedding/new house quilt when I finally gave it to them. ;-)

Your quilt looks like it is lots of little pieces which takes a lot of time.
