Locker Hooking rug
I looooove this rug. It took me about 6 weeks to finish (4 weeks to do the bulk of it) and used up 11 yards....no not a typo.....11 yards of fabric! It weighs a ton!!!!!!
I can't seem to go into the sewing room and use my machine but I'm still having a good time with other fabric projects!

Great rug! Looks like a great way to use up scraps.
I recently bought a locker hooking pillow pattern. I have been wanting to try locker hooking for a very long time and now I finally can!
The rug is beautiful - I thought of Joseph's coat of many colors when I looked at it. I just can't imagine how you managed to shoe-horn in 11 yard of fabric. Or how you pick it up!
It looks lovely! I've been thinking about doing some rugs, but haven't gotten there yet.

Wow! Eleven yards of fabric - I bet that means it doesn't slip on the floor with all that weight!
