Don't mind the mess on the table. I was so excited to photograph and blog I didn't bother to "set the scene!" I got these patterns from this incredible site. (now if I can brave up and remove the UGLY wallpaper...) I have one more valance to make for the other window....stay tuned.....

That valance is adorable. Hope the wallpaper comes down without a fight. I lucked out when I redid my kitchen. The wallpaper came off as easily as peeling a banana! You know the fabric softener trick for loosening the glue on wallpaper, don't you? It is much more pleasant than wallpaper remover and smells better.
