Sunday we caught him petting and cooing to the cat in the garage. Yesterday I got this picture. 
HA! It seemed blackmail was in order.....He received the following email

It seemed blackmail was in order.....He received the following email"If you want this photo to remain a secret you must deposit 5 yards of quilt shop fabric into my sewing room by noon (12 o'clock) today. Failure to do so will result in the instant publication of the photo. Your fate is in your hands..... (no fake sneezing!)"
His response.....(exactly the way he wrote it)
It looks like I was sleeping! I don’t even remember the event! (sigh) What color fabric do you want……?
We have a strange relationship! LOL!!

Looks like the cat decided he was hers, too! Exact same story at our house only he wants the cat to come to him like a dog would. It has taken a while for him to face the fact that the cat has complete control! LOL

OK, that was slick....but the cat is still the big winner in all this. She got a house, staff on-call 24 hours a day, and an unlimited all-you-can-eat buffet. Sweet!
Also -- what ARE you going to name your cat?
Morah, I believe all blogs are improved by the addition of a cat. Your lives will also be improved, thereby. "Mooch" sounds like an excellent name. Keep the cat. He has already choosen you anyway.
There's nothing like a bit of blackmail to keep a marriage (and a fabric stash) healthy. Lol. I love the quilt over the back of the chair.
Cats choose their homes, I think, when possible. This kitty has clearly figured out this will be a great kitty home! :-)
